Course Content

Module 1
This module focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of ice pick, boxcar and tethered acne scars using advanced minimally invasive techniques. You will learn how to accurately assess scar morphology, distinguish between different scar types, and develop effective treatment strategies. The module explores the principles and clinical application of subcision and TCA CROSS, demonstrating how these procedures release fibrotic tethering, stimulate collagen remodelling, and improve scar appearance. You will learn how to differentiate hypertrophic scars from keloids, understand the indications and techniques for intralesional corticosteroid injections, and appreciate the role of dermal needling in hypertrophic scar management. Through practical demonstrations, the module also covers appropriate equipment selection, injection techniques, post-procedural care, and long-term patient management to achieve predictable and effective clinical outcomes.
