SKINMED® ENERPEEL® CHEST AND BACK (CB)

SkinMed® EnerPeel® SA Chest and Back (CB) Acne Protocol

EnerPeel® SA-CB is specially formulated for the treatment of comedogenic and inflammatory acne on the chest and back. It is made up of 30% Salicylic acid, Triethyl Citrate, Ethyl Linoleate, GT Peptide 10, supported by creams and lotions delivering the same 3 antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and oil slowing ingredients.

SkinMed® ceramide boosting body creams and retinoids ensure long results are maintained.

Body Acne – Causes and Symptoms

Hormonal sensitisation of the skin causes it to lose oils and fats (lipids), making the skin’s water loss increase dramatically, accelerating skin cell production, increasing keratin deposition inside cells, and pumping more oil onto the skin’s surface.

Although these three things slow down the excessive water loss, the thickened skin and excess oil production combined with more dead skin cells narrow and closes the hair follicle openings.

Bacteria which feed on oil migrate under skin blockages where they multiply, producing inflammatory by-products, resulting in the classic acne spot.

The science

Clinical studies were based at 5 university hospitals on patients whose resistant acne was defined as ‘unresolved’ – even after using prescription medication for 12 months.

Patients were prescribed 4 EnerPeel® SA C&B peels, 2 weeks apart in conjunction with the anti-acne topical regimen. This achieved an 84% resolution rate of their acne.

This medical protocol kills 96% of acne bacteria, including all antibiotic-resistant acne bacteria, quickly and effectively.

EnerPeel®: Patented Carrier Technology

EnerPeel® uses a patented carrier solution which restrains the activity of the acid until it is absorbed. This is not buffering the acid and thereby reducing its activity; it is restraining it and then releasing it to accelerate through the skin. EnerPeel®s carrier system enhances its activity for uniform and enhanced absorption of the active ingredients; with two to three times improved skin penetration.

The Result

In clinical trials, an astounding 84% of difficult-to-treat patients found the products worked faster than antibiotics in reducing oil, bacterial infections and inflammation. The trials were conclusive and proved EnerPeel® SA, combined with SkinMed®’s Conplete Acne Protocol, to be more effective than the number one UK prescribed product without any associated side effects.

Back and Chest Acne TripleLock® Products to be used with Enerpeel® SA CB

Using the EnerPeel® SA C&B

Application details

The ENERPEEL® SA-CB utilises a sprayable lotion contained in 5 ml pump sprays. The solution is sprayed in a fine vapour (so ensure both you and the client wear a face mask during the procedure) onto the skin to maximise coverage and absorption. Penetration into the skin is further enhanced by using the bobble-headed rollers.

EnerPeel® SA Chest and Back is recommended with the following protocols

Acne Protocol

EnerPeel® SA C&B works synergistically alongside our all-encompassing Acne TripleLock® products to create the complete protocol, targeting all visible symptoms and invisible underlying causes of acne, by reducing oil production, killing acne-causing bacteria, and reducing inflammation. We have a special OSK Chest and Back Spray solution to target bacne.

Top Tip

Each 5 ml pump spray contains around 30 sprays. 30 sprays are normally sufficient to treat an adult back. 15 sprays are considered sufficient to treat an adult chest. It is important for the client and the clinician to wear masks during this procedure, so as not to inhale the volumizes salicylic acid as this can cause a dry mouth and coughing.
